How to clear the Windows Temp folder
Tap the Windows key button on your keypad to Launch the Windows Start Menu
Now type Type %temp%; you will see a folder named %temp% at the top of the search result. Click on the folder.
Upon clicking on the folder: it will take you to the inside of the Temp folder, where you will need to delete the content to free up some space on your Windows 7/8/10 computer.
To be sure you are inside the temp folder, the address on top of the window should look similar to the below address.
The HP above will be your username which you use during the windows installation.
Now hold Ctrl + A to highlight all the items in the folder & Tap the Delete button. After deleting the files, restart your PC and check if you still see the storage space running out error.
Sometimes, we have piled up many files ranging from music to videos & software setup files on our computer hard drive. All these files might have eaten up a vast amount of your hard disk volume which may be the cause of the low storage warning on your computer.

The files in the Recycle Bin can be restored to their original location, but they cannot be used while they are in the Recycle-Bin folder.
However, you can configure your operating system to delete deleted files immediately, especially when those files are too large.
So if you have too many files sent to the recycle bin, it might be eating up your hard disk; so you need to empty those files. And get some free space on your Windows 7, 8, and 10 Computer.
Follow the steps below to clear the Recycle-Bin on windows OS:
- Press the Windows key & type recycle bin or Double-click the Recycle Bin icon on your Desktop.
- Press Ctrl + A and hit the delete key, or click Empty Recycle Bin at the top of the recycle bin windows.
- If a confirmation box popup clicks yes.
